ABSTRACT SUBMISSION & GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The submission for Abstracts to the  <\/font><\/font>17th International Symposium on Human-Induced Vibrations and Seismic Influences on Structures<\/font><\/font><\/em><\/strong> is now open.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that abstracts must be submitted in English and sent to the SC by e-mail ( <\/font><\/font>symposium.hivib <\/font><\/font><\/strong>@pk.edu.pl<\/font><\/font><\/strong> ). FULLTEXT SUBMISSION & GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The HIVIB2026 post-symposium proceedings will be published as a Springer volume, with papers indexed in Scopus and Ei Compendex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The papers must be written in English. Submissions must be a minimum of 6 pages in length. Abstracts or papers shorter than 6 pages will not be accepted. While 6 pages is the minimum requirement, we strongly encourage submissions between 8 and 10 pages to ensure sufficient depth and quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Statement on Publication Ethics and Good Practices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Authorship and Originality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authors submitting manuscripts for the HIVIB2026 post-conference proceedings are required to present original scientific or technical content, grounded in reliable data and free from plagiarism. Submissions must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere. Authors should include a comprehensive list of references, citing relevant work from the literature, and clearly state any financial support or funding that enabled the research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Responsibilities of Authors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by members of the International Scientific Committee, who will assess the scientific value, clarity of the research objectives, methodology, novelty, and language. The evaluation process includes two stages: (1) following the abstract submission, and (2) after the full paper will be submitted. Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the work should be listed as authors. Authors must ensure that the data presented is authentic and accurate, and they are obliged to address reviewer feedback and implement necessary revisions or corrections as requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Peer Review and Reviewer Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reviewers are expected to conduct evaluations in an impartial and professional manner, free from any conflicts of interest with the authors, institutions, or funding bodies. Their assessments should clearly highlight both strengths and areas for improvement and suggest relevant uncited literature when applicable. The content of submitted manuscripts and all related review materials will be treated as strictly confidential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Editorial Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chair of the HIVIB2026 Scientific Committee holds final editorial authority over acceptance or rejection of submissions, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and in full independence from any conflicts of interest. Editors are responsible for ensuring that accepted papers meet the expected quality standards and will issue corrections or retractions when warranted. Reviewer identities will remain anonymous throughout the editorial process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Ethical Standards in Publishing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The editorial team is committed to maintaining the integrity and transparency of the publication process. This includes a readiness to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies when needed. Submissions driven mainly by commercial intent will not be considered for publication. All accepted papers will be made openly accessible via the official conference website after the event. Authors who prefer to withdraw their paper from online publication must notify the Scientific Committee Chair no later than 1 May 2026. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
