We are delighted to announce that, as part of the HIVIB2026 event, and in addition to the inspiring discussions and debates on topics related to structural dynamics, a series of exceptional workshops will also take place.
Together with EC TEST Systems – an expert in measurement, diagnostic, and simulation solutions in the fields of vibrations and acoustics, Polytec – a leading manufacturer of Doppler laser vibrometers, and Cracow University of Technology, we cordially invite you to workshops dedicated to non-contact vibration measurements using Doppler laser vibrometers.
The workshops will go far beyond theory — the capabilities of Doppler laser systems will be demonstrated directly in the Wind Engineering Laboratory at the Cracow University of Technology, headed by Dr. Eng. Renata Kłaput. During the session, a measurement technique designed to determine the basic dynamic characteristics of a structural model will be demonstrated.
Participants will have the opportunity to practically test various types of laser vibrometers, including the PSV-500-1D-Xtra scanning laser vibrometer and the portable VibroGo VGO-200. The results obtained during the workshops will be compared with measurements performed using typical contact-based methods.
The workshops will be led by Dr. Eng. Grzegorz Bosak (CUT) and Msc Eng. Piotr Gawęcki (EC TEST Systems).
The workshops will take place during the conference on June 10-12, 2026, at Wind Engineering Laboratory (Cracow University of Technology), located at 37 Jana Pawła Street in Krakow.
